Judge tosses Timothy Busfield's indictment on child sex abuse charges

A New Mexico judge on Friday dismissed actor/director Timothy Busfield’s indictment on child sexual abuse charges.

District Court Judge Joseph Montano granted Busfield's motion to throw out the grand jury indictment.

Busfield had been indicted on four counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor.

In a court filing obtained by Fox News Digital, the judge found the prosecutor "failed to act in a fair and impartial manner," including by failing "to properly instruct the grand jury on the law for calling witnesses and in instructing the grand jurors on a procedure that effectively withheld requested witnesses.

"In doing so, the grand jury proceedings were conducted in a manner that violated grand jury statutes designed to protect the structural integrity of our grand jury system, and the presumption of prejudice applies.

"The State, however, remains free to institute new criminal proceedings against Defendant," the filing adds.

During a September hearing, Busfield’s attorney, Amanda Fayerberg, played audio recordings of grand jurors asking to hear from additional witnesses. She said prosecutors wrongly informed jurors that subpoenas would be needed, even though those witnesses were "present, available and willing to testify."

Bernalillo County District Attorney Greer Staley countered that the defense hadn’t followed the correct process for submitting evidence to a grand jury and that Busfield improperly and "excessively" tried to steer grand jurors toward favorable witnesses and exhibits during his three-hour testimony.

Nancy Laflin, communications director for the 2nd Judicial District Attorney, told Fox News Digital, "Our office has received the order and is evaluating our options to determine how we will proceed."

Busfield has repeatedly denied the allegations against him. In an email Friday, Fayerberg told The Associated Press he was "relieved and grateful" after reading the judge’s decision.

When Busfield was indicted earlier this year, his attorney issued a statement to Fox News Digital, saying a "grand jury will indict a ham sandwich."

"What is deeply concerning is that the district attorney is choosing to proceed on a case that is fundamentally unsound and cannot be proven at trial. The detention hearing exposed fatal weaknesses in the state’s evidence, gaps that no amount of charging decisions can cure," Larry Stein said in February.

"This prosecution appears driven by something other than the facts or the law," he added. "Mr. Busfield will fight these charges at every stage and looks forward to testing the state’s case in open court — where evidence matters — not behind closed doors."

Busfield, 68, first surrendered to local authorities on child sex abuse charges Jan. 13, days after an arrest warrant was issued for the "West Wing" actor. He was held without bail at the time of his arrest on two counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor and one count of child abuse.

He denied the claims upon surrendering and is "determined to clear his name," according to a statement from Stein provided to Fox News Digital.

Busfield was released Jan. 20.

"You're authorized for release on your own recognizance with the conditions that you appear at all future court settings," Judge Murphy said. "You have not violated any laws."

Authorities had issued an arrest warrant for Busfield over allegations of misconduct from when he was working as a director on the set of the TV series "The Cleaning Lady."

According to an arrest warrant obtained by Fox News Digital, 11-year-old twins allege that the director, whom they were told to call Uncle Tim on the set of "The Cleaning Lady," had touched them inappropriately.

One twin claimed an incident had occurred while alone with Busfield in a bedroom on set, alleging he had been touched over his clothes on his genitals and bottom. The warrant further states that hospital professionals later informed the parents that the children showed signs of being "groomed."

Fox News Digital reached out to Busfield and his wife, Melissa Gilbert, for additional comment.

James McAvoy says ‘Band of Brothers’ co-star recruited fellow actors to bully him on set

James McAvoy is getting candid about what it was like filming "Band of Brothers" and why it wasn't his best experience on a set.

During a recent appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," the actor was asked to rate his experience working on different projects, and when he was shown a picture of the show's cast, he said he was bullied during filming.

"On my first day on set, there was a ton of actors," he began. "It was one of those scenes with everybody in it, and we’re all at a bar, and I had a scene. And all these guys were in it for nine months, 10 months, and they get one line in one episode, and one line 10 episodes later. They were all pissed. I come in for one episode, and I’ve got an arc and scenes. I’ve got tons of lines."

When the photo, which featured many of his co-stars from the show, flashed on the screen, McAvoy got up to get a closer look, confirming that a specific actor was in the photo.

"So, one of the guys in that picture decided to bully me on my first day as a professional actor out of acting school," he said. "He got him and his buddies to just stand pointing at me and laugh at me for like three minutes."

While he didn't name names, the photo featured Donnie Wahlberg, Kirk Acevedo, Scott Grimes, Neal McDonough, Adam James, Frank John Hughes, Philip Barantini and Ross McCall.

The "X-Men: First Class" star added that not everyone on set participated in the bullying, saying Dexter Fletcher and Robin Laing "took me aside, and they were like, ‘Come hang with us, man.'"

He went on to say that he would give the overall experience on the show a nine out of 10 but noted "that day felt like a two."

"Band of Brothers" is a 10-part miniseries that aired on HBO in 2001 and told the story of Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army. The show's storylines were based on interviews with real-life survivors of Easy Company, in addition to letters and journals of real soldiers.

After his one episode on the show, McAvoy shot to stardom with roles in "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," "Wanted," "Atonement" and in the "X-Men" franchise.

When speaking about how he got the role in "X-Men," McAvoy admitted to the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast in September 2024 that when he was first approached about starring in the project, he and his wife had taken some time off after the birth of their first child.

While he said they "weren't penniless" and weren't in debt, he admitted they "had pretty much nothing in the bank," and he needed to get back to work. "There's only like 60 pages of it at this point, and I feel like it's good Jane Goldman did a great job," he said of the script.

"It's good, but it's incomplete. Don't really know where it's going. But I was like, 'This is a three-picture deal. They're paying well. It's 40 minutes from my front door. I'm a fan of the original material. I get to be young Charles Xavier.' And I was like, ‘This is a no-brainer.’

"So, my agent phoned me, and she was like, 'What do you think?' and I was like, 'It's a work of genius. We're doing it.'"

Selma Blair is speaking out for the first time since her arrest.

On Friday, Blair's representative issued a lengthy statement to People, saying the actress "did not intend to harm anyone."

"Since Sunday night, the public account of what happened to Selma aboard a flight to New York has been built almost entirely on a police statement and a decade-old headline," the spokesperson said.

"A handful of journalists have taken the time to report on Selma as a human being rather than a headline, and we are grateful to them," the statement continued. "But fair reporting has been the exception, and in the space left by our silence, speculation has hardened into something being treated as fact. We can, however, correct the record on a few points already in public circulation. Selma Blair experienced a medical emergency on the flight. There was no attempt to open the door of the aircraft. Selma did not intend to harm anyone."

In 2018, Blair revealed publicly that she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease.

"The suggestion by anyone that Selma does not have multiple sclerosis is outrageous. Her diagnosis has been public since 2018. What Selma has been able to do physically in the years since is nothing short of a miracle. She still has bad days, and she lives with pain daily," the statement continued. "Selma also has pseudobulbar affect, a neurological condition secondary to her MS, which bears directly on how a medical episode presents to people who do not know her. For the same reason, she travels with a service dog who doesn’t leave her side, and the authorities took her dog from her."

Blair's rep went on to share the list of projects the star has been involved in this year.

Blair still attended the 90s Con at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Conn. on Friday. Fox News Digital obtained video footage of the actress leaving the convention after taking photos.

Blair was arraigned Monday on two counts of second-degree assault stemming from accusations that she assaulted a nurse and a police officer after an incident involving crew members aboard a Delta Air Lines flight to New York City. Blair pleaded not guilty.

The judge set bail at $20,000 cash/$60,000 bond/ $60,000 partially secured bond. She's expected in court in January 2027.

The actress was arrested Sunday.

"On Sunday October 11 at approximately 11pm at JFK Airport, PAPD responded to a call about a physically abusive passenger aboard Delta Airlines flight 938 which was parked at the gate after arrival from LAX," New York Port Authority officials confirmed to Fox News Digital.

"Suspect was identified as Selma Blair, a 54-year-old woman. She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation."

During her court appearance in Queens, Blair’s lawyer claimed the actress missed multiple doses of a "powerful" medication, the New York Post reported.

"This was not an intentional assault," the outlet noted that her attorney, Shawn Barnes, said in court. "Ms. Blair missed several doses of… a powerful medication that controls severe neurological symptoms."

"Ms. Blair boarded this flight after being on set and working extensive hours and exhaustive hours in the days leading up to this flight," he added. "Additionally, at one point, during the flight, there was an incident where Miss Blair actually fell and hit her head," Barnes added, according to the NY Post. "These factors, coupled with altitude, resulted in a state of severe confusion and disorientation."

Blair was restrained on a stretcher at the airport but freed her leg, and allegedly kicked an officer in the face, neck and chest, causing substantial swelling, court documents said.

A nurse at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where Blair was taken, alleged that the actress kicked her in the chest while moving her.

Delta confirmed that law enforcement officials responded to an incident upon arrival to John F. Kennedy International Airport, a flight which departed out of Los Angeles earlier in the day.

"Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first," Delta said in a statement.

Additionally, there was no operational impact on the flight as it landed ahead of schedule at JFK, Delta said.

Sources told TMZ that Blair allegedly punched one flight attendant and bit another in the middle of the flight.

Law enforcement officials confirmed Blair was also separately served with a summons by the FBI, and is currently facing one charge of assault.

The 58-year-old son of actor James Brolin told Theo Von on his "This Past Weekend" podcast that despite early success on "The Goonies," his career in Hollywood was going nowhere.

Before he was cast as Brand in "The Goonies," he said he went to "350 auditions," and people told him, "It's not for you."

Even after he found critical acclaim in the industry, the money wasn’t blowing him away.

For "No Country for Old Men," he said he was paid $100,000, "so I cleared what, $30,000? That’s not considered a great year."

But his Hollywood career began to turn around quickly after that.

Joe Manganiello released his new memoir, "Bloodlines," which is already receiving a lot of buzz online.

From revealing details about his divorce from Sofía Vergara, the seven-year-long mystery illness that nearly took his life and Tom Cruise's alleged involvement in the star being nixed in the "Reacher" series, below are the biggest bombshells from "Bloodlines: A Memoir."

Manganiello and Vergara married in 2015 and announced their separation in 2023. Their divorce was finalized in 2024.

JOE MANGANIELLO DENIES SOFIA VERGARA’S CLAIM MARRIAGE ENDED BECAUSE HE WANTED A BABY: ‘SIMPLY NOT TRUE’

In his memoir, Manganiello detailed that he proposed to her in Spanish in Kauai, Hawaii, and the next year they were married. They planned on starting a family.

"She told me that when we first met, she wasn’t thinking about having more children, but she had sworn that if she ever remarried and her husband wanted kids, she’d do it," Manganiello wrote. "It was clear right away how we felt about each other, so at the urging of her doctor, before we were even engaged, we began trying via IVF."

Manganiello said that after two years of trying to have a child, they were unsuccessful. The former couple even entertained the idea of having a surrogate, but $200,000 later, they decided it was not the right time due to Manganiello's "mystery illness."

A year after the couple tied the knot, Manganiello was admitted into the hospital for two months straight.

"To visit me, Sofía had to lie down out of sight in the back of her assistant’s car, until they were sure they had lost the paparazzi, before heading to the hospital where she would disguise herself in a wig and hat and sneak in through the loading dock," Manganiello wrote.

It was Vergara who made the lifesaving decision to have the doctor remove Manganiello's large intestine so he would survive.

"While I was under, they called Sofía, who, as my next of kin, had to choose what she thought I would want the doctors to do. She made the brutal but lifesaving decision to allow my entire large intestine to be removed and a hole to be cut into my abdomen to divert my small intestine."

"When I woke up after the ten-hour procedure, she was there at the foot of my bed to inform me that the surgery had saved my life but had left me with an ostomy bag for an indefinite amount of time, possibly forever," he wrote.

Manganiello credits his illness for contributing to his marriage with Vergara falling apart.

"I started to live separately on the opposite side of the house during the day, and with the loss of my enthusiasm for life and the death of the dream of her and me becoming parents together, the fire between us began to go out," he said, referring to the period after he was released from the hospital.

Manganiello was admitted into the hospital for two months straight after a year of symptoms from his "mystery illness." He lost 60 pounds in two weeks after having his large intestine removed to save his life.

In his memoir, he wrote that a Cuba-based shaman told him he was "sick" and "something is wrong with his intestines." At the time, Manganiello said members of his close family did not even know the extent of his illness and gave Vergara a "side-eye" that was "equal parts fear, anger, and disbelief."

The shaman then said that an ex from Vergara's past who still had romantic feelings for her put a curse on Manganiello.

"'Someone from your past is still in love with you. He put a voodoo curse on your husband. He did it in New Orleans,'" Manganiello recalled the shaman telling him.

He continued, "'Your husband needs to be cleansed and protected. I can do this. I can help him. But I need to see him for two days, and I cannot come to the United States. Can he meet me somewhere else? I could meet him in Ecuador.'"

Manganiello was stunned by the shaman's comments.

"I looked at Sofía, trying to comprehend how the f–k this guy could possibly know any of this," he wrote. "None of this had been mentioned in the press. No one knew."

Manganiello began racking his brain, trying to figure out what ex it could be. He eventually believed it could have been "the guy she was with right before me."

Vergara and Nick Loeb called off their engagement in 2014. That same year, Vergara began dating Manganiello. He wrote in his memoir that Loeb suffered a "horrendous car wreck" while he was dating Vergara and began to question if his ex-wife was the cursed one.

"The thought crossed my mind maybe it was Sofía who was cursed, cursed by some man in her past who couldn’t have her, so he put some sort of hex on her so that for the rest of her life, she’d transmit it to any man who got together with her," Manganiello wrote.

He continued, "I was fully aware of how crazy it was for me to seriously entertain thoughts this bizarre, but then again, how did the shaman know all of that about me?"

Loeb shared a statement with Page Six after learning of Manganiello's accusations. "I pray they find Jesus — not another shaman," he told the outlet.

Manganiello recounted the moment he told Vergara that he was "leaving the marriage."

"After she left for a vacation in Italy with her friend, I found a place to live, got the keys, and ordered a bed and a TV to be delivered that weekend. I then had everything I owned packed up and moved out," he wrote.

Manganiello clarified that it was only after he moved out of their home in Beverly Hills to a new place in Venice Beach that he filed for divorce.

He also wrote about a $500,000 loan he took from Vergara to prevent the bond company from taking over the 2019 movie, "Bottom of the 9th," after "a major budgetary error was discovered headed into the postproduction phase."

"Because I was also the producer and star, I felt as though saving the film was my responsibility, and when I began the process of lining up a bank loan, Sofía offered to lend me the money with 0 percent interest," Manganiello wrote. "I’d never in my life taken a dime from anyone I’d ever dated, let alone her, but I swallowed what little of my pride I had left and accepted."

At the time of the divorce, he still owed Vergara $400,000.

Manganiello addressed the comments Vergara made about their divorce in the media, and called them "annoying" in his memoir. "But at the end of the day, they didn’t really matter as long as they didn’t ultimately hurt my career," he emphasized.

Manganiello made some harsh claims about Vergara's departing words to him.

"What bothered me more were the things said in a surgical attempt to hurt me as I walked out the door. She told me that I was wrong, that I wasn’t healthy after all, and that I was going to get sick again. She also let me know that in her opinion, no one was going to love me when they found out the full extent of what I had," he wrote.

"That was the last time I ever spoke to her," he clarified.

Manganiello accused Vergara's ex, Tom Cruise, of getting in the way of his involvement in the Prime series, "Reacher."

In his memoir, Manganiello wrote that Amazon executives were set on him for the role of Lee Child, but the part suddenly went to someone else. He suspects Cruise was involved in that decision.

Cruise, "an executive producer [on the show], could have potentially come in over the top and vetoed my being cast on account of Sofía," Manganiello wrote.

Vergara and Cruise allegedly dated in 2005, a decade before Manganiello and the "Modern Family" star tied the knot. On IMDb Pro, Cruise is not listed as an executive producer on the "Reacher" series.

Vergara's representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Prince Harry has spent years publicly unpacking his grief over the death of his mother, Princess Diana. But his latest revelations have sparked renewed skepticism among royal experts.

The Duke of Sussex opened up about how losing his mother when he was 12 affected his life in a new MasterClass course titled "Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss," which debuted Oct. 8.

In the course, Harry spoke with neuroscientist and grief expert Dr. Mary-Frances O'Connor about how grief can affect the brain and body.

Forbes previously reported that most MasterClass instructors get at least $100,000 and a share of at least 30% of revenue.

The Daily Mail reported that a spokesperson confirmed Harry was paid by MasterClass but declined to comment further. Past stars featured on the platform include Martin Scorsese, Gordon Ramsay and Hillary Clinton, among others.

Several royal experts told Fox News Digital that Harry's decision to repeatedly revisit his grief through books, interviews and media projects has fueled debate over whether the 42-year-old is profiting from the tragedy he shares with his brother, Prince William, who has largely chosen to grieve outside the spotlight.

"Prince Harry has spoken extensively about his emotional scars and unresolved grief surrounding the death of his mother," British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard told Fox News Digital.

"However, Harry continuously paints himself a victim," Chard said. "Blame always falls on someone else. He realizes people's interest in Diana and, let's not forget, it makes a quick buck. It's seen as a cash grab, cashing in on his mother's death. It plays into the reported title 'Grief Grifter.'"

"The public understands the heartache Harry and William must have endured after their mother passed away," Chard said. "Grief affects people in different ways, and both boys endured divergent paths of grief."

According to People magazine, MasterClass approached Harry about developing a class on grief in 2025. The course was filmed in California during the summer of 2026, before Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, traveled back to the U.K.

People reported that the course, released ahead of World Mental Health Day on Oct. 10, supports two charities: Scotty's Little Soldiers, a U.K. organization that helps children and young people whose parents died during or after service in the British Armed Forces, and Comfort Zone Camp, a U.S. nonprofit that provides bereavement camps for grieving children.

According to The Times, William does not plan to make a film about Diana to mark the 30th anniversary of her death in 2027, in part to avoid further conflict with Harry. The outlet also reported that William has declined several offers to make or appear in documentaries about his mother.

Meanwhile, Harry is considering several projects to mark the 30th anniversary of Diana's death, according to People magazine. While several ideas are under discussion, the outlet reported that no documentary has been finalized or confirmed. Several sources told People that Harry has reached out to family members and friends of his late mother.

The class also arrived just weeks after Princess Diana's younger brother, Charles Spencer, released his memoir, "Swan Song: Diana, My Sister."

At the beginning of the course, Harry recalled his reaction to learning of his mother's death.

"I didn't cry when I was told my mom died, only at her burial, and then not again for nearly two decades," he said, as quoted by People. "I was convinced that was strength, but it wasn't. It was a 12-year-old boy with no permission to fall apart and no roadmap for how to heal."

"You would think I had the best help in the world," Harry said. "I'm a prince for God's sake. But I was still grieving and didn't have any place to put those feelings."

In his 2023 memoir, "Spare," Harry wrote that his father, King Charles III, didn't hug him after telling him Diana had died.

"Pa didn't hug me," Harry wrote. "He wasn't great at showing emotions under normal circumstances. How could he be expected to show them in such a crisis? His hand did fall once more on my knee, and he said, 'It's going to be OK.' That was quite a lot for him. Fatherly, hopeful, kind. And so very untrue."

For some royal experts, however, the issue isn't whether Harry has a right to discuss his grief, but his decision to repeatedly revisit it publicly.

"Sadly, Harry hasn't dealt well at all with his grief," British royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital.

Fordwich echoed Chard's criticism, saying Harry has faced accusations of being a "grief grifter" for repeatedly discussing his mother's death through public projects that could generate revenue.

"What mother would want her child to be miserable and mourning so many years later?" Fordwich asked.

Other royal commentators see Harry's decision differently. Royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that Harry is using his platform to raise awareness of mental health issues and encourage others to discuss their experiences and seek help.

"I feel this is not a ploy on his part to create attention or sympathy from the public," Turner said. "I see it as an act of bravery on his part to distance himself from former royal trappings and show himself as most people see him: a man of the people."

Harry also said he spent years feeling that experiencing happiness would mean betraying his mother's memory.

"I'd spent so long emotionally numb, to a large extent, because I felt disloyal and guilty for the possibility of being happy and joyful without her," Harry said. "I felt like I had to be sad, and I had to be emotionally numb in order to prove to her that I missed her."

"But the reality is, what I discovered was actually she just wanted me to be happy," Harry said. "And that was a huge mental shift for me. It freed me, and it gave me a whole different outlook on life."

In the course, Harry also described his experience after moving to Canada with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Prince Archie, in late 2019. The couple stepped back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020, citing intrusive British media coverage and a lack of support from the palace as reasons for their departure.

Harry said he experienced an "adrenaline crash."

"We moved to Canada to get some space away from everything, just to be able to think," Harry said. "Being in Canada, away from the stressful environment where presumably my body was just pumped full of adrenaline, within two or three days, I experienced this adrenaline crash — something that I'd never experienced before."

"It was as if I needed stress in order to get the adrenaline to make my brain function because I became useless around the house," Harry said. "I actually slipped into depression for about two weeks and I felt like I couldn't function without adrenaline."

Harry's disclosure that he experienced depression shortly after leaving royal life caught Chard's attention.

"The new narrative that he was depressed for a couple of weeks after leaving the British royal family is slightly suspect and does not resonate with his 'Freedom Flight,'" Chard said. "Harry wears his heart on his sleeve, and many doubt he'd forgotten to state this information in his previous memoir, documentaries and interviews."

"This is definitely new information and slightly changes the narrative," Chard said.

Harry also said that carrying out royal duties triggered anxiety and panic attacks.

"There was a time where public engagements just created absolute panic right from beginning to end," Harry said. "The panic was having to put my suit, jacket, and tie on and suddenly feel suffocated. The panic was going from A to B, getting out of the car in front of all the cameras and the clicks.

"I started to realize that I had become seriously depleted when just putting a simple dress shirt on — the tightening of the collar — literally felt like I was suffocating, and I would be experiencing panic attacks just in the car on the way to work," Harry said. "And that's when I realized, OK, there's something bigger, there's something else that you need to look into here."

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital he believes Harry will continue discussing Diana's death if he moves forward with a documentary about his mother.

"There is no doubt he is likely to continue emphasizing his vulnerability after Princess Diana's death," Fitzwilliams said. "We saw the emotional Harry on MasterClass, yet again."

Harry also credited therapy with helping him confront grief he had carried for decades.

"I learned more about myself in two or three sessions than I had done in 20 years," Harry said. "First of all, she helped me accept and acknowledge that I was grieving and that it was okay to grieve and that what happened to me was really quite hard."

Nearly three decades after Diana's death, Harry and William continue to take different approaches to honoring their mother's memory — one through public revelations, the other largely away from the spotlight.

While chatting on the "Joe Rogan Experience," Douglas, 82, recalled thwarting a near-death experience with a cult.

Douglas explained that the cult tried to "create a cathartic moment, being all together, kind of an emotional moment."

"They invited me for dinner, and then they said, 'Well, with a lady friend,' they said ... 'We've been trying to reach you,'" he recalled.

"We got to dessert, and they said, 'We've been trying to reach you, and you just don't get it. You don't get it. So, you're going to have to be eliminated.'"

When Rogan asked what it was that Douglas "didn't get," he explained that "they wanted … to join, to give yourself up, to be part of it."

"They were going to whack me," he said. "I remember there was a long silence, and I said, 'Well, you've done it, haven't you?' And they said, 'Yeah,' ... and a big, long pause.

"My girlfriend just started falling apart, peeing in her pants and all that."

Douglas admitted they thought they "were going to get killed," but, instead, he was allowed to simply walk away.

"Then I said, 'I'm going to leave now,' and they said, 'Yeah, you better.'"

He said there was a moment when if he made "any sudden movement," he could have easily been killed.

"It's strange," he remembered. "I've never had many experiences, but there's numbness. … Kind of this whole numbness just comes over you, or it did in my case. Just was frozen."

When asked what cult it was, Douglas claimed that it was led by Mel Lyman, noting that he alerted the police after the ordeal.

Douglas also talked to the podcaster about his time living in a commune in Santa Barbara during his "hippie days."

"It was called Mountain Drive, a whole community," Douglas explained. "It was organic. People lived, you know, it wasn't formal."

The Academy Award winner wrote about secret affairs; heavy cocaine and alcohol use; a "rehab or divorce" ultimatum from his first wife, Diandra; and the painful family struggles that followed him from childhood into fatherhood in his new memoir, "One Helluva Ride."

Douglas described his father, Hollywood icon Kirk Douglas, as a powerful but volatile presence.

"Kirk Douglas was my father, a flawed man with a ferocious temper and a burning ambition," he wrote.

Douglas admitted that his father’s behavior left him and brother Joel frightened. He recalled Kirk saying, "I yell and scream because I care," and Douglas wrote that Joel endured more of the abuse.

The "Wall Street" star also described the darkest years of his son Cameron’s addiction.

"When he was really strung out in New York, I decided I was going to kidnap him and force him into rehab," he wrote.

Douglas said Cameron was addicted to cocaine and heroin, dealt methamphetamine and carried a Glock for protection. During one incident, Cameron flashed the weapon at a drugstore and was nearly shot by police.

At one point, Douglas says he arranged for two large men to help abduct Cameron and force him into rehab.

"When we came back, I asked to hold the leash. Cam figured it out. He looked at me, like, ‘Dad, how could you?’ Like I had broken his heart. Again."

Cameron realized what was happening and resisted, so Douglas threw the plan out of the window.

Cameron later served seven years in prison after a federal drug case. Douglas wrote that his son’s heroin relapse behind bars led a judge to add 4½ to his sentence, and Cameron spent two years in solitary confinement.

Billy Joel says he can't drive, unsure about touring future after brain disorder diagnosis

Billy Joel's touring future remains uncertain due to his ongoing health issues.

Joel, 77, revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he's also not allowed to drive a vehicle after being diagnosed with normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) in 2025.

"What the neurologist told me, every time you do a show, it’s like you’re getting a concussion," Joel said.

When asked about his current status, Joel said that his "health is good," but still isn't sure when he'll be able to tour again.

"I have this thing called hydrocephalus," he told the outlet. "It used to be called water on the brain, so it affects your balance, it affects your memory, it affects your vision, your hearing. But I’m OK."

"They call it a brain disorder, but it’s not that serious. It’s just something that affects your balance mostly."

As far as going back on the road again, Joel admitted he can't perform quite like how he used to.

"I have to take a series of tests before I know, but I can’t drive right now," he said. "I’m not allowed to drive. And I can’t do performances because what the neurologist told me, every time you do a show, it’s like you’re getting a concussion."

He added, "So they have to test me further to see if I can go back and do performing again, which I would like to be able to do."

The "Uptown Girl" singer underwent brain surgery after revealing his normal pressure hydrocephalus diagnosis in May 2025. NPH affects his vision, hearing and balance, according to a statement Joel released on social media at the time.

He delved more into his recovery process during a recent appearance on his self-titled SiriusXM show, "The Billy Joel Channel," and said doctors told him that performing loud rock 'n' roll music caused damage to his brain nerves.

Joel remembered his medical team saying, "Well, we drill a hole through your skull, and we stick a shunt inside your brain."

"I didn't want to do that, but then I read up on it and I realized it can help improve your balance and can help your memory," he noted. "You know, I don't want to lose my marbles. It's hard to tell what's age and what's a condition, so I agreed to do the shunt and I had a surgery. And they implanted a shunt in my brain, and it actually improved things."

"My memory got better. My balance got a little better. My ability to function was better, and I realized, and the doctors told me this, because of my job, which is playing rock and roll music very loud, that it was giving me something like a concussion every time I did a show."

Joel shared more about his diagnosis ahead of the sale of more than 70 lots from his personal collection of motorcycles heading to the auction block next month with Gooding Christie's.

"Well, I ended up having over a hundred motorcycles, and the truth is you can only ride one at a time. I’m into my 70s now, and I realized I can’t ride as much as I used to," he told the outlet. "I don’t want to die like a bug on a windshield. So I thought I’d put a lot of them on auction."

"And also I have a condition called hydrocephalus, which makes driving a little bit iffy. So I realized it’s time for me to turn it over to somebody else."

The collection includes a number of his most cherished motorcycles, in addition to Ducati, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Triumph, Honda, Kawasaki, and more.

Hayden Panettiere’s final moments were captured in a frantic 911 call as the brother of her on-and-off boyfriend desperately tried to revive the actress after finding her unconscious at a South Carolina apartment Aug. 16.

"Oh, God, oh, my God — you do like CPR or something?" Zach Hickerson asked the dispatcher in the newly released audio obtained by ABC News and CBS News.

The seven-minute call reveals Hickerson performing CPR on Panettiere while Brian Hickerson administered Narcan.

Panettiere, 36, was found unresponsive at the Greenville residence Aug. 16. Zach told the 911 operator that he had arrived at the apartment after returning from church and discovered his brother and Panettiere inside.

"He woke up, and his girl ... she’s unconscious," Zach said.

The dispatcher asked whether Panettiere was breathing.

"No, I don’t think so," Zach replied.

"We’re going to do this 500 times or until help can arrive," the dispatcher said, according to ABC News.

Zach continued performing CPR until first responders arrived. Brian reportedly administered Narcan, a medication used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

In a statement to TMZ shortly after Panettiere’s death, Zach said he called 911 after he and Brian tried to wake up the actress.

"When we went in and tried to wake Hayden up, we realized she was unconscious," he said. "I immediately called 911, and Brian gave her Narcan. We then jointly performed CPR while 911 was on speaker until fire and EMS arrived."

Panettiere was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m.

Panettiere died from the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol and quetiapine, according to the Greenville County Coroner's Office. The manner of death was ruled an accident.

"On August 16, 2026, at approximately 1:51 PM, a 911 call was received regarding a reported cardiac arrest at 701 Easley Bridge Road in Greenville," the Greenville County Coroner's Office said in a release obtained by Fox News Digital.

"First responders and Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and located a female in cardiac arrest. EMS personnel initiated advanced cardiac life support measures; however, resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and the individual was pronounced deceased at 2:32 PM.

"The Greenville County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and initiated a parallel investigation with the Greenville City Police Department. The decedent has been identified as Hayden Leslie Panettiere, 36, of California. Panettiere was found unresponsive inside the residence, where she had been temporarily staying.

"An autopsy was completed by a Board Certified Forensic Pathologist. At autopsy no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death."

"The cause of death has been ruled as toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol, and Quetiapine. The manner of death has been ruled accident."

Hickerson traveled with the "Remember the Titans" actress from Los Angeles the day before she was found unresponsive, according to TMZ. The two broke up briefly in 2022 but rekindled their romance the following year.

Hickerson's brother confirmed to police Brian was in a relationship with the actress at the time of Panettiere's death.

Fox News learned the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) had also been contacted and was assisting with the investigation.

"I felt really sad. I honestly felt really sad," Duff said.

"It sucks to read something that's, like, not true, and it sucks on behalf of like six women in all of their lives," she continued.

Denise Richards is opening up about an alleged betrayal in her tumultuous marriage to estranged husband Aaron Phypers.

During an appearance on "The Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg Show," Richards got candid about the financial toll of her marriage to Phypers, claiming she unknowingly paid the salary and severance of a woman he was allegedly having an affair with.

"A woman he was having an affair with at his work, an employee. I paid her payroll, her severance," Richards said during the Oct. 13 episode. "I don't know how she looked me in the face."

Representatives for Richards and Phypers did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

The latest allegations come nearly a year after Richards was granted a five-year restraining order against Phypers following a contentious court battle involving accusations of physical and emotional abuse.

Richards was granted the permanent restraining order on Nov. 7, 2025, after accusing Phypers of abuse. The order is set to expire Nov. 7, 2030.

Phypers was arrested in court in October 2025 on spousal abuse charges stemming from two separate incidents in 2017 and 2022, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

Richards testified in court at the time that Phypers attempted to destroy her reputation during the fallout of their relationship, and, at one point, allegedly leaked nude photos of the "Drop Dead Gorgeous" actress after she claimed he stole her laptop.

"It’s been difficult for my daughters, especially with the naked photos," Richards, who shares two daughters with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and one daughter with Phypers, told the judge during court proceedings. "I'm so embarrassed and shameful as a mom. [My daughter] couldn't go to church."

In a statement to People, Phypers denied Richards' allegations.

During the same proceedings, Richards described multiple allegations of physical and emotional abuse as she detailed terrifying incidents that left the mother of three fearful for her life.

"Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages," Richards claimed in the documents filed July 16.

"Aaron regularly threatened to ‘break my jaw’ and would cry, beg me to stay, and promise to get help — none of which ever happened. Aaron has caused me at least three concussions."

Chuck Lorre is spilling all his secrets in his new memoir.

The prolific television producer and writer wrote about his life and his many decades in the industry in his new memoir, "Sitcom," in which he gave tons of behind-the-scenes stories from some of his most popular TV shows.

Whether it was his final days working with Charlie Sheen, him going to bat with the network over casting choices or shocking refusals from cast members regarding salaries, Lorre didn't hold back.

Here are some of the biggest bombshells from his memoir.

MACKENZIE PHILLIPS SAYS SHE AND VALERIE BERTINELLI DRANK WINE, DID COCAINE DURING SITCOM BREAKS

One of Lorre's most successful sitcoms is "The Big Bang Theory," which had a large ensemble cast.

In his memoir, Lorre recalled bringing in Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch towards the end of season three and upgrading them to series regulars in the fourth season, noting without them, "the show would likely have run out of gas after seven, maybe eight seasons."

After a while, he remembered the network getting pressure to raise the episodic fees for Bialik and Rauch, noting TV executives Les Moonves and Bruce Rosenblum approached the main cast, who were earning $1 million an episode plus profit points, "to ask them to take a 10 percent cut in pay to accommodate that raise."

"I assumed they’d quickly agree, you know, all for one, one for all," he wrote. "That effusive attitude of gratitude actors display at award shows. Wrong again. They were outraged that they would even be asked to take a small cut in order to reward the two newer cast members. Moonves and Rosenblum had to slink out of the room, scrotally impaired."

Fox News Digital reached out to representatives for stars Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg for comment.

Lorre and Charlie Sheen worked together on "Two and a Half Men" for eight seasons before the actor's behavior led to his exit.

In his memoir, Lorre explained that the show "was a blast to do" for the first seven seasons, but "it all began to unravel" during season eight, when Sheen "started calling in sick all the time."

"The typical excuse was food poisoning, usually bad clams," Lorre wrote. "There were a lot of emergency dental appointments. Once I was informed he would not be attending rehearsal because his BIC lighter had exploded and burned off his eyelashes. Another time, his manager bragged to me about having to fly across the country, with a bag full of cash, in order to purchase a home video sex tape starring his client."

Despite his antics, they continued to film the show, with Lorre noting they "worked in a constant state of anxiety," wondering what Sheen was going to do next.

His behavior soon became too much to handle, and it was clear to those around him that his health and wellbeing were at risk.

"The last scene we shot was with Charlie and Melanie Lynsky," Lorre wrote. "He couldn’t remember any of his lines and had to use the furniture to keep himself upright. Melanie was terrified. It was clear to everyone that this man, whom we’d all grown to love, was in trouble. I had no choice but to shut down the show."

Lorre wrote that after refusing to get help for his drug problem and later trashing him on television, Warner Bros. decided they no longer wanted Sheen on their lot, and he was let go.

During his career as a television writer and show creator, Lorre encountered pushback from studio executives many times when it came to choosing actors to star in his shows.

In his memoir, Lorre explained the casting decisions behind some of the most popular shows from the past few decades, noting executives initially didn't want to cast Jon Cryer on "Two and a Half Men," or Nayyar on "The Big Bang Theory."

Despite the success of these actors in their respective roles, studio executives challenged him once again when it came time to cast the female lead in "Mike & Molly."

"The casting of Molly was, like with Jon Cryer, a tortuous journey," he said. "Once again, my brilliant casting director, Nikki Valko, brought in a comic genius. Melissa McCarthy. And once again, CBS hated her. Believe it or not, they wanted a hot young woman to play a woman struggling with her weight. It was even suggested by one exec—a female exec—that I consider casting a more attractive actress and put her in a fat suit."

Lorre explained that at this point he had learned his lesson and did not take no for an answer, insisting that McCarthy be given the role, "end of discussion," adding that "when 'Bridesmaids' came out, I felt pretty god-damn smart."

When discussing his life prior to making it big as a TV writer, Lorre revealed he was once a part of the Church of Scientology.

He recalled going to the Church of Scientology in Columbus, Ohio, after being invited by the sax player at a bar. He wrote that he "had no idea what Scientology was," but since he had nothing to do and his car was in a junkyard, he decided to go, and was quickly taken with the "pretty girls" there.

Lorre explained that after taking a communication class, he had an out-of-body experience, and sought out the Church of Scientology when he was in Los Angeles. There, he found himself presented with a one billion year contract to join Scientology's Sea Org.

"Now, I didn’t want to give up my dead-end music career, but I was broken, outnumbered, and overwhelmed," he wrote. "I caved in and signed. Next thing I knew, I was saving homo saps by passing out free personality test invites to homeless people in MacArthur Park. I lasted two days. Which means contractually, I owe the Church of Scientology a billion years of labor minus two days."

Lorre touched on his marriage to his third wife, Arielle Mandelson, saying entering into an age-gap relationship was not the best decision.

He explained that when their relationship began, he "convinced myself that age was an arbitrary thing" and that "you're only as old as you think" and that "the heart wants what it wants, but as time went on he came to the conclusion that all that ‘turned out to be bulls---’ and 'sometimes the heart's an idiot.'"

"Age is not only a huge chasm, it widens with time. No bridge can span the distance between Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen," he wrote. "The speed of physical and mental decline between sixty and sixty-five is horrifyingly quick. Between thirty and thirty-five, infinitesimal."

Lorre claimed that initially he was "wary about the age thing" as he was older than Mandelson's parents, but that anytime he brought that to her attention, "she accused me of being ‘ageist,’" adding, "eventually she wore me down."

"After seven years we were both miserable and agreed to separate. Eight months later we carpooled to a wedding," he wrote. "The night ended with a second consummation, followed by reconciliation, followed by another year of misery. This time we agreed to divorce. She got a whole bunch of money. I got the dog. I like to think I got the better end of the deal. The dog is always happy to see me."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being accused of playing royals on their own terms — and sidestepping the late Queen Elizabeth II's wishes in the process.

On Oct. 15, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Nottingham for their first joint public appearance since returning to the U.K., Fox News Digital confirmed. The city holds special significance for the couple, as it was the first place they visited after announcing their engagement in November 2017.

Kinsey Schofield, host of the YouTube show "Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered," told Fox News Digital that, based on her sources, "there is frustration" inside Buckingham Palace as Harry and Meghan prepare to visit several charities in a manner resembling an official royal engagement.

The Sussexes appear increasingly determined to recreate the optics of royal life without the responsibilities that come with it. … The charitable visits, the appearances, the photographers. It’s royal theatre without royal authority."

"Royal engagements aren't just photo-ops," Schofield said. "There's diplomacy involved. There's soft power. Working royals represent the sovereign, strengthen relationships and serve the interests of the country. Harry and Meghan appear more interested in faking the image of royalty than embracing its purpose. They can imitate the engagement, but they can't replicate the authority or constitutional significance."

"They are pushing to reclaim the spotlight they left behind," British broadcaster Helena Chard told Fox News Digital. "It's definitely a reboot — a pseudo royal reboot."

In January 2020, Queen Elizabeth II drew a firm line at the Sandringham Summit: There would be no "half in, half out" role for the Sussexes. The couple stepped back from royal duties that year, citing intrusive coverage by the British press and a lack of support from the palace.

"Following conversations with the duke, the queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of the royal family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service," Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Feb. 19, 2021.

In response, the couple issued a statement of their own, saying: "We can all live a life of service. Service is universal."

In Nottingham, the couple focused on charitable work. They visited a food bank, where Meghan reconnected with some of the women she supported at the Hubb Community Kitchen in London. As a working royal, Meghan helped produce "Together: Our Community Cookbook," which featured recipes from women associated with the kitchen.

They also visited the Community Recording Studio, which helps young people affected by violence, and spent time at Epic Partners, which supports young people through mentoring and sports.

Although Harry and Meghan are free to support charities as private citizens, their visits are not official royal engagements, as they no longer represent the monarch. However, royal commentators argue that the couple's public appearances risk blurring that distinction.

"The Sussexes have not been given permission to behave like working royals, and yet they seem to have gone ahead with their own plans to recapture the spotlight in the U.K.," Christopher Andersen, author of "Kate!," told Fox News Digital. "These are worthy causes that the couple was supporting previously, so that obviously takes some of the sting out of it."

Several royal experts told Fox News Digital that the couple's public appearances put King Charles in an increasingly uncomfortable position. While Harry and Meghan are no longer working royals, their titles, global profile and carefully choreographed public appearances can still look strikingly similar to official royal duties, even though they do not carry the authority of the crown. This, they argued, leaves the monarch to decide how firmly to enforce the boundary his late mother drew.

"King Charles faces a severe problem because Harry and Meghan appear determined to ignore the late queen's instructions," Schofield said.

"They’ve retained their titles and international recognition, allowing them to stage appearances that resemble official engagements, despite no longer representing the crown. The king has demonstrated throughout his life that he can be decisive when protecting his interests and the institution. The question is whether he’s prepared to demonstrate that same strength when it comes to his youngest son."

"Queen Elizabeth was unequivocal," Schofield said. "You can't be half in, half out. If Harry and Meghan are determined to recreate that arrangement through the back door, Charles may eventually have to remind them why the front door was closed."

Andersen noted that the king is "weary of having to deal with all this drama" and of being "a sort of referee between his sons." However, Andersen said, the king may ultimately have little choice but to act if the Sussexes continue to blur the line between private citizens and working royals.

"Anything that looks like an official royal engagement will definitely be interpreted as defying the monarch’s wishes, pure and simple," Andersen warned. "The queen’s decree was that members of the royal family are either all in or all out. And the king is determined to fulfill his mother’s wishes."

Fox News Digital reached out to Buckingham Palace and Archewell for comment.

A source told People magazine that the Sussexes are "both excited to focus more on their work and the projects that matter to them."

The outlet reported that while the Sussexes reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla in July, they are not believed to have seen the king in person since moving back to Britain. According to People, Harry and his father have remained in contact by phone. Harry and his older brother, Prince William, reportedly haven't spoken in years. A palace insider told the outlet that the rift between the brothers has only been "magnified" by Harry's return to the U.K.

Royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that, as private citizens, Harry and Meghan have the freedom to pursue their own projects without requiring the blessing of the king or the Prince of Wales.

"There are suspicions that Harry and Meghan are trying to create an alternative royal family," he said. "Their first joint event together has raised eyebrows in some royal circles. But as they are now private citizens, 'The Firm' have very little, if any, power over them. This, in some ways, could be a blessing for Harry and Meghan and a curse for those in royal circles."

Schofield said the Sussexes can't control how the palace will react, particularly if people within the palace believe the couple's plans disrespect the late queen.

"What should concern the king is the growing frustration among royal supporters who want to see him take a more assertive approach towards his youngest son and daughter-in-law," Schofield said.

"King Charles may believe that silence is the most dignified response, but there comes a point when restraint risks being mistaken for weakness. The monarchy doesn’t need to compete with Harry and Meghan for publicity, but it does need to protect the integrity of royal service and the distinction between working royals and private citizens."

"After years of telling the world how miserable royal life made them, they’re desperately returning to the very formula they abandoned," Schofield reflected. "Hollywood was supposed to offer them something bigger and better. Instead, they appear to be discovering that the royal connection was their greatest asset all along."

Canadian singer Joni Mitchell officially becomes American citizen after 62-year journey

Joni Mitchell has officially become an American citizen at age 82, more than six decades after she first moved to the United States.

The music icon, who hails from Canada, announced the news on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself beaming while holding an American flag along with a video from her naturalization ceremony.

"A journey that began 62 years ago," Mitchell wrote in the caption of her post.

Mitchell wore a red and navy blue floral cardigan that had an American flag pin along with a red beaded necklace, a red beret and black pants with black boots while posing in between an American flag and a Department of Homeland Security flag.

In the video Mitchell uploaded, she was seated in the front row at the ceremony as the speaker announced, "And Joni Mitchell, Canada" to cheers and applause from the audience.

According to KSL, Mitchell will also retain her Canadian citizenship because the U.S. and Canada legally permit dual citizenship.

The legendary singer-songwriter was born Roberta Joan Anderson in Fort Macleod, Alberta, to Royal Canadian Air Force flight Lt. William Andrew Anderson and teacher Myrtle Marguerite.

Mitchell's family lived on several bases during World War II before eventually settling in Saskatoon, which the singer has often referred to as her hometown. She went on to attend the Alberta College of Art in Calgary before dropping out and relocating to Toronto, where she played gigs at coffee houses and folk clubs.

The "Both Sides Now" songstress moved to the United States in 1965 at age 21 after marrying American folk singer Chuck Mitchell. The former couple, who lived in Detroit, Michigan, performed together as a folk duo before divorcing in 1967.

After their divorce, Mitchell left Detroit and moved to New York City, where she became part of the Greenwich Village folk scene and performed along the East Coast.

By 1968, Mitchell moved to Los Angeles, settling in Laurel Canyon, which was becoming a hub for singer-songwriters including David Crosby, Graham Nash and others. In the mid-1970s, Mitchell moved to LA's Bel Air neighborhood, where she lived in a historic 1920s home for decades.

Mitchell built her legendary music career while living in California, where she recorded many of her most acclaimed albums, including "Blue," "Court and Spark" and "Ladies of the Canyon."

Mitchell has won 11 Grammy Awards and was inducted into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1997.

She was also recognized with the Kennedy Center Honors in 2021 and received the prestigious Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song in 2023.

The musician lives in Santa Barbara, California.

Mitchell is an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and expressed frustration that she couldn't vote in U.S. elections because she was Canadian.

"'F--- Donald Trump.' I love that song," she said, apparently referencing rapper YG's 2016 protest song "FDT (F--- Donald Trump)" featuring the late rapper and activist Nipsey Hussle.

She then encouraged Americans to participate in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, in which Trump ran against Democratic nominee former Vice President Kamala Harris.

"Everybody get out and vote. This is an important one. I wish I could vote . I'm Canadian. I'm one of those lousy immigrants," Mitchell said.

Months before becoming an American citizen, Mitchell criticized the political climate in the U.S. while accepting a lifetime achievement award at Canada's Juno Awards in March.

At the ceremony, Mitchell praised Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, saying, "I'm so glad to be back in Canada. This man is a blessing. You guys are so fortunate."

Before the show, the actor was overcome with emotion talking about Beach Boys legend Mike Love, who is facing "serious health challenges."

Stamos, 63, shared a carousel of images on social media with his "musical hero and mentor" before admitting he was "struggling" to put his feelings into words.

"My beloved friend, father figure, musical hero and mentor, Mike Love, is facing serious health challenges," he wrote. "We hope he’ll be doing what he loves for years to come, but we don’t know what the future holds. We have tonight."

At Tuesday's Hot Cuisine fundraiser for the Scleroderma Research Foundation (SRF), Stamos told Fox News Digital it was his mission to get Love to the Ryman Auditorium for a performance of a lifetime.

"Our goal was to get him up at the Ryman this weekend. He wanted it," Stamos said. "I've been spending a lot of time with him, you know, quiet time. We've been listening to music. … Doo-wop. He loves Doo-Wop.

"And I said, ‘You gotta tell me, do you really think you can do these shows this weekend?’ He said, ‘Yes, and I really want to.’ I said, 'We'll make it happen.'

"Everybody told him not to — doctors, his family — but it was something he wanted to do. He's made all my dreams come true and all my wishes. So, I had to fulfill his wish, and we made sure that he got there and did a good job."

SRF presented John Stamos with the Bob Saget Legacy Award, recognizing his steadfast support for scleroderma research and his commitment to following in Bob’s footsteps by shining a spotlight on scleroderma and raising funds toward a cure.

Love's representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. It's unclear what health struggles Love faces.

Stamos and Love's son, Brian Love, delivered speeches prior to the show.

"One thing about him is he's stubborn, and he's steadfast, and he did not want to miss the Ryman. I mean, for good reason," Brian said, via Variety.

"Look at this place. So, we are happy. We're going to be positive. We're gonna sing along. But I still remember something he told me when I was a child, and it stuck with me. I said, ‘Dad, why do you do so many shows?’ I mean, we are talking about a guy who's done over 100 concerts a year well up into his 80s."

"That's just incredible, right? So, he told me, ‘Well, if you don’t do as many concerts, you don't see as many towns, and then that means less people get to hear the amazing Beach Boys personally.' So, he's always cared for the small towns, the fairs. … This is obviously a much more well-known, beautiful venue. But he cares about the listener, and I think it's such an honor to be part of that. And we've gotta live in the moment."

Stamos said, "All we have is tonight really, and I think it's going to be very, very special. Mike, he insisted on being here. … He's done over 7,000 live shows. And tonight'll be 7,422, I think exactly. I think that's where we're at. He's counting. … We love you, and have the greatest night ever, and God bless you all."

After the curtains opened, Love was already seated on stage, the outlet reported.

He sang in his seat along with his bandmates but did not do his lead vocals.

During the performance, the Beach Boys legend addressed concerns about his health, saying, "Obviously, I’ve been going through some health issues for quite a while. But I didn’t want to miss being at the Ryman with y’all."

Variety reported that Love was helped up by Brian and Stamos at the end of the show as the song "We Are The Champions" by Queen played.

In his social media post, Stamos acknowledged that Love "is a fighter," and despite "doctors, family and friends urging him to focus on his health, he insists on being on stage."

"He says he needs his band, the audience, his friends and drummer surrounding him to lift him up," Stamos wrote. "I’ve played with Mike for 41 years. I never imagined how deeply it would affect me to see someone larger than life face something so human and fragile."

The Beach Boys have been touring in support of the 60th anniversary of their groundbreaking 11th studio album, "Pet Sounds."

Stamos noted that "the Mike Love we see tonight may not be exactly the Mike we’ve always known. But he’s still every bit the Mike we love."

Andy Kiernan asked social media followers to "pray for Selma," in an Instagram story shared Monday.

"She has a good heart," he wrote. "She hasn't yet got the help she needs. Pray that she does."

Kiernan was referring to Blair's 15-year-old son, Arthur Saint Bleick, who she co-parents with fashion designer Jason Bleick.

Blair, 54, was arraigned Monday on two counts of second-degree assault stemming from alleged attacks on a Port Authority police officer and a nurse following her arrival at John F. The "Hellboy" actress was taken into custody at JFK and transported to a hospital for evaluation following the in-flight incident. Two flight attendants reported injuries, and one was taken to a hospital, according to officials.

Police officer Maria Suarez was helping secure Blair on a stretcher at approximately 11:50 p.m. ET when Blair allegedly "removed her leg from the stretcher straps and kicked Officer Suarez repeatedly about the face, neck and chest," according to an affidavit.

Suarez suffered swelling to her jaw and "substantial pain to her face, neck and chest," and was then treated at a Queens-area hospital, according to the filing. Blair is also accused of kicking a nurse in the chest at a Queens hospital.

During her court appearance in Queens on Monday, Blair’s lawyer claimed the actress missed multiple doses of a "powerful" medication, The New York Post reported.

"This was not an intentional assault," the outlet noted that her attorney, Shawn Barnes, said in court. "Ms. Blair missed several doses of … a powerful medication that controls severe neurological symptoms.

"Ms. Blair boarded this flight after being on set and working extensive hours and exhaustive hours in the days leading up to this flight."

He added, "Additionally, at one point, during the flight, there was an incident where Miss Blair actually fell and hit her head. These factors, coupled with altitude, resulted in a state of severe confusion and disorientation."

Law enforcement officials confirmed Blair was also separately served with a summons by the FBI, and is currently facing one charge of assault.

"Suspect was identified as Selma Blair, a 54-year-old woman. She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation."

"We'd like to have some medical personnel at the gate for a couple of the FA's [flight attendants] involved in the passenger incident," dispatch requested in audio obtained by Fox News Digital. "They just need to get a couple things looked at."

Delta confirmed that law enforcement officials responded to an incident upon arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport, a flight which departed out of Los Angeles earlier in the day.

"Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first," the airline said in a statement.

Sources told TMZ that Blair allegedly punched one flight attendant and bit another in the middle of the flight.

She was traveling with her service dog, which is now in the custody of her attorney, CBS reported.

"Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition," a rep confirmed to Fox News Digital at the time.

During a new interview with GQ, the Oscar-nominated actor took aim at wealthy power players, blasting "greedy bastards" who think they control every aspect of Hollywood and predicting a major rebellion against the industry.

"I believe in rebellion. And I think people are going to wake up and punch back and there’s going to be massive movements in music and massive movements in live theater and massive movements of people getting together," Hawke said.

Rogan compared the experience of becoming famous as a child to concrete. If concrete is made incorrectly, with the wrong amount of water or cement, that's it, he explained. Rogan added that once it dries there is no way to repair or fix it.

During his GQ interview, Hawke expressed the same sentiment.

"I wouldn’t be the first person to say that there’s an aspect of celebrity that is like a disease," he said. "And you can handle little bits of it, but too much of it — we can see what happened to Elvis and we can see Michael Jackson. It’s a form of isolation. It’s like being put in a zoo, and zoo animals go nuts. So do human beings."

"And it seems like a kind of nice isolation because people are giving you money, and they’re telling you you’re wonderful, but nobody’s being real with you," he continued. "And that makes people insane. And they start scratching, trying to find some real life. And sometimes people do that with drugs, some people do that with acting out or getting in fights or whatever the ways that people do it."

Last year, fellow actor Dakota Johnson also ripped into Hollywood, calling the industry an absolute "mess."

During her appearance on the show "Hot Ones," Johnson was asked why "Hollywood is risk-averse."

"I think it’s hard when creative decisions are made by a committee, and it’s hard when creative decisions are made by people who don’t even really watch movies or know anything about them … that tends to be what’s occurring a lot," Johnson shared with host Sean Evans.

Johnson, who has grown up in the business as the daughter of actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, is no stranger to the inner workings of Hollywood.

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress’ comments come as studios continue to create sequels and remakes, with original storytelling often sidelined.

"When something does well … studios want to keep that going so they remake the same things," she claimed. "But humans don’t want that. They want fresh. They want to feel new things, experience new things, see new things."

The scathing response came after Maines — who kicked off The Chicks' anniversary tour for "Taking the Long Way" in Manhattan this week with bandmates Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire — revived the infamous criticism of former President George W. Bush that sparked a firestorm more than two decades ago, only this time, she suggested she would welcome Bush back compared to Trump.

Collin Gosselin is taking aim at his estranged mother, Kate Gosselin, accusing the former reality TV star of trying to "bury" him to protect her public image as he makes allegations of childhood abuse in his new memoir, "In the Shadow of Eight."

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" alum said he has not spoken to Kate since he was 13 and would need an apology and accountability before considering reconciliation.

"I'd like an apology, simply put, an apology and for her to admit, and just take accountability for what she did," Collin, 22, said.

He also compared his experience in a treatment facility to being sent to a juvenile detention center, saying it left lasting scars.

Kate recently spoke out for the first time following her estranged son's book release.

On Oct. 10, the former reality star posted a video on TikTok with an update about her dog. The video's comments section of the video was later filled with TikTok users discussing Collin's memoir. Over the following days, Kate responded to some select comments.

One commenter wrote, "I know you already know this, but you have the support of so many. Most importantly your seven precious children." Kate shares eight children with her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin. The TikTok user added that their feed was "flooded with such terrible lies. It should be illegal to defame someone that way, but I just wanted to say you are doing a great job keeping your head up through all of this. We love you!"

"I know rational logical ppl or anyone who has dealt with mental illness understands what’s going on here :)," Kate replied.

Kate also liked another comment in the thread that claimed "he will regret all of this someday" and alleged that he'd been "encouraged and enabled by other dysfunctional and mentally ill people." The commenter added, "I'm just sorry that you have to relive this over and over."

Kate later replied, "Exactly! I had nothing to do with it, except for consent because it was medically necessary."

Collin’s memoir accused Kate of restraining him with zip ties, hitting him when he failed to perform for cameras and isolating him in the family’s basement. The mother and son had been estranged for years, and Collin eventually moved in with his father, Jon, after his parents’ 2009 divorce.

"I think we can all say, 'I'm sorry,' but if we're not willing to take the actions and take accountability for what has happened in the past and what happened my entire childhood, then what does that really mean, you know?"

Collin said he remains open to hearing from his mother, hoping she might acknowledge what he alleges happened during his childhood.

"I think I'd take the call out of curiosity and just to hope that maybe she would admit to the things that she did to me when I was a child," he said.

Now, Collin is stepping back into the spotlight on his own terms as a contestant on the fifth season of FOX's "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test," a move he said carries special significance after growing up on reality television.

"It was so powerful to be able to come back to TV on my own terms as an adult and rather than being a young child being pressured to perform on the daily," he said.

He also stressed that children should have a say in whether their lives are broadcast to the public.

"When a child does not want to be on TV, that should be their decision to make. And we should let them make that decision," he said.

Collin and his seven siblings shot to fame on "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which chronicled Kate and Jon Gosselin raising their twin daughters, Mady and Cara, now 26, alongside sextuplets Collin, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Leah and Joel, now 22.

The series aired from 2007 to 2009 before returning as "Kate Plus 8" in 2010. After the couple divorced, Collin was institutionalized as a preteen before Jon was awarded custody and he moved in with his father.

Kelly Clarkson's public clash with a Brooklyn shop has left its owner concerned about more than a lost sale.

Adam Rubin, co-owner of Art of Play and a children’s author, spoke with Fox News Digital inside the Brooklyn store Tuesday morning, claiming the singer has put his business in danger after their viral dispute over a $15,000 mechanical singing bird.

The bird at the center of the controversy now has a staggering $15 million price tag.

"But I am afraid for the safety of our shop. Kelly Clarkson has put us in danger," Rubin told Fox News Digital.

Rubin claimed the backlash has extended beyond angry comments online, with people associated with the business allegedly facing threats and having their personal information exposed.

"We've got incredible support from our neighbors and fans over the past few days, and all of them have been attacked, threatened, doxed," he said.

Rubin also accused Clarkson of an "abuse of power," arguing that the singer's enormous platform has intensified the backlash against his small business.

Rubin argued that Clarkson's celebrity status carries a responsibility.

"You can't just try to squash somebody like a bug and expect everybody to give you a pass," he said.

Rubin also questioned why strangers would go to such lengths to attack a small business on behalf of a celebrity, expressing frustration that people who had never visited his store were joining the backlash.

The mechanical bird that sparked the dispute has also undergone a dramatic price change.

A photograph taken Tuesday by Fox News Digital shows a new sign beside Molly identifying the bird as a creation of artist Bliss Kolb, with an eye-popping price of $15 million.

The sign describes Molly as "The world's most famous singing bird automata!" and lists its price as "$15,000,000."

The new figure is 1,000 times the original $15,000 price at the center of Clarkson's complaint.

Art of Play previously explained in a public statement that the original $15,000 figure referred to a nearly identical automaton available from artist Bliss Kolb, while Molly herself is permanently attached to the wall and serves as a fixture in the store's magic performances.

Rubin also addressed the dramatic price change during his conversation with Fox News Digital, pointing to the attention Molly has received since Clarkson's visit.

He described the new figure as a matter of "supply and demand," while the store has maintained that the bird is not for sale.

Rubin suggested Molly's sudden notoriety has made her one of the most recognizable mechanical birds in the world.

The new sign offers a striking contrast to the original $15,000 price tag that Clarkson cited in her complaint.

The price change adds another twist to a dispute that began Saturday when Clarkson visited the Brooklyn shop and later accused an employee of treating her as though she couldn't afford its merchandise.

Clarkson initially took to social media to describe what she considered a humiliating shopping experience, comparing her treatment to Julia Roberts' character in the 1990 film "Pretty Woman."

"Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me," Clarkson wrote.

"Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale."

The singer later doubled down on her account after Art of Play disputed her version of events.

Clarkson maintained that she had pointed to a $15,000 price tag and was told the bird was available for purchase, but that an employee suggested finding her something comparable.

"So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar. Got it," Clarkson wrote in a follow-up post.

Art of Play has maintained that the encounter was a misunderstanding.

In its public response, the store explained that Molly is a permanent fixture in the shop and that employees had offered Clarkson the opportunity to purchase a similar bird from its creator.

The business also said another singing bird automaton, priced at approximately $2,000, was available.

For Rubin, however, the controversy has become much more personal than a disagreement over an unusual piece of merchandise.

During his conversation with Fox News Digital, the co-owner revealed that he had recently undergone a medical procedure and was not supposed to be working.

"I'm not even supposed to be here today. I got a cancer removed from my face last week," Rubin said.

"I'm getting the stitches out tonight."

Rubin said his concern about the store's safety was the reason he came in despite recovering from the procedure.

The co-owner also wanted to explain what Art of Play represents beyond the dispute that has suddenly brought it national attention.

"This is a curiosity shop," Rubin told Fox News Digital.

He described a business built around objects intended to inspire curiosity, including spinning tops, kaleidoscopes, puzzles, games and playing cards.

"And the reason this place exists is to make people feel like a kid again," Rubin said.

The business began online before operating a small location in San Diego. Rubin said the Brooklyn shop opened approximately two years ago.

Rubin, who is also a children's book author and magician, has spent years working in the world of illusion and performance.

The Brooklyn store also houses a small theater that hosts close-up magic performances, with Molly serving as the opening act, according to Rubin. Art of Play has previously maintained that the bird is permanently attached to the wall and was not available for purchase.

Despite the public dispute, Rubin said Clarkson would still be welcome back at the shop.

"We messaged her. I don't know if she saw it. I don't know if she cares," Rubin said.

Joe Manganiello is opening up about the secret health battle that nearly "took his life" over seven years.

Manganiello sat down with "CBS Mornings" to discuss his health and his newly released memoir, "Bloodlines."

During his appearance, the actor told Gayle King he was offered the role as the main villain, Deathstroke, in Ben Affleck's canceled "Batman" movie.

He wrote in his memoir that, at the same time as the job offer, he was "dying." Manganiello received the call to appear in the movie in 2016.

"I got the call about a month out of the hospital after I collapsed on another set," Manganiello told King. "After about a year of feeling these mystery symptoms, I went into the hospital for two months straight and, at the end of my stay, they wound up having to remove my entire large intestine to save my life.

"They had split me open. My entire large intestine had turned to pus, and it was about to explode," he continued. "They took it out, and the surgery left me with an ostomy bag. And in the wake of that, I lost 60 pounds in two weeks. I couldn't walk. My eye went cross-eyed. I lost my voice. I had five catheters."

Manganiello explained that, after he was released from the hospital, he was in the process of trying to gain the weight back when he got the call to meet Affleck and appear in the "Batman" movie.

The actor told King he was still married to Sofia Vergara at the time, and she was the one who ultimately made the decision for the doctors to save his life and remove his large intestine.

"They had to call her as my next of kin and give her options of what she thought I would want done to me while I was unconscious. She chose the right one, and it bought me time," Manganiello said. "It didn't solve the problem. The doctors still had no idea what was causing this, how to treat it. But it bought me enough time."

"But we do have to credit her for saving your life. For making that decision," King replied.

"Absolutely," Manganiello said.

King went on to cite Manganiello's memoir in which he wrote that his mystery illness put a strain on his marriage to Vergara. The former couple married in 2015 and announced their separation in 2023. Their divorce was finalized in 2024.

"That kind of pain was like a flood in my life. You can't predict how that's going to affect people. It affected me a certain way, it affected her," he said. "It was seven years long. People didn't know about it. I was living in secret with this. Only the closest people around me knew."

King mentioned that Vergara's son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, 35, shared a post about a "narcissistic" man on Monday.

"Her son posted a thing about, ‘This is what happens when you deal with a narcissistic man,’ and she has liked that post," King began. "They appear to be saying that, basically, it’s terrible what happened to you, but the bottom line is that you’re a narcissist. What do you say to that?"

Manganiello appeared a bit shocked before he replied, "Well, I think anybody who said that should read the book first and understand what the book is actually about because it’s not about that. It’s about the suffering I went through."

Billy Crystal is opening up about how a devastating year changed his relationship with God.

During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the comedian, 78, opened up about how losing his longtime Pacific Palisades home in the January 2025 wildfires and the death of his close friend Rob Reiner greatly impacted his faith.

Crystal was asked whether he had been speaking with God after the painful losses. The actor referenced his previous one-man show, "700 Sundays," in which he described conversations with God, before offering a stark response.

"No, ’cause I don’t trust Him," Crystal said.

Crystal’s longtime home was destroyed in the Palisades fire after he and his wife, Janice, lived there for 46 years. The couple raised their children and grandchildren in the house, which Crystal described as a "magical place."

Speaking at a benefit weeks after the disaster, Crystal recalled visiting the remains of what was once his home.

"When we were finally able to get back to our house in the Palisades, which I lived in for 46 years, like thousands of you, our house now looked like this," Crystal said, before a photo of the aftermath of the Palisades Fire appeared on the screen.

"I stepped onto the grounds and fell to my knees and I wailed. I had not cried like that since I was 15 years old, and I was told that my father had just died. I remember looking in the mirror back then with my whole life ahead of me thinking, ‘What’s my life gonna be like without him?'"

"And now folks, I'm 76-years-old, without a mirror and a lot less life to ponder thinking, ‘What is my life going to be like without our home?’" Crystal asked.

The loss became the inspiration for Crystal’s new Broadway show, "860," which is named after the street address of the home. The production recreates his home office onstage and explores his family, career, memories and grief.

"860" also reflects on the loss of Reiner, who was killed with his wife, Michele, in December 2025. Crystal said he and Reiner had been together at a holiday party the night before their deaths.

Despite the tragedies, Crystal said humor has helped him move forward.

"That’s what I do," he said when asked how he finds humor during the darkest moments. "It’s a healer."

Crystal said performing "860" has already helped him process the loss of his home and friends.

"I’ve absorbed the biggest pains that people couldn’t go through — the loss of home, dearest of friends," he said. "And I’m OK."
